Backpackerated was launched online on November 15th 2025.
Let’s go back to where it all began… One fine and sunny day in July 2024 we had a vision to create an online home for backpacking. It was really that simple! We set out to create a space that resonates with every backpacker on a personal level.
Our mission is to build a brand backpackers and budget-conscious travellers can trust. Given that we’re Kiwis and we know the country inside out, having backpacked to every corner of it, it made sense to start with backpacking New Zealand.
We’re committed to delivering top-quality content and services, and a user experience second-to-none. We want to provide you with everything you need to plan your next adventure and create unforgettable memories.
